Evolution Gaming has agreed a deal to launch an online live casino service with the Hippodrome Casino in London, UK.
The new service will be built around Evolution’s generic live tables, which are located at the firm’s studio in Riga, Latvia, as well as a Dual Play Roulette table that will be placed at the Hippodrome’s ‘Lola’s’ underground casino facility.
Players will be able to place bets on roulette via desktop, tablet and smartphone alongside customers seated at the table in the casino.
Lola’s Dual Play Roulette table will be also made available as a ‘Live from the Hippodrome’ feed to other Evolution licensees.
“This exciting initiative with Evolution will enable players to play not only at our historic destination casino, but to actually play online at a real table set amidst the unique and pulsating atmosphere of Lola’s,” Hippodrome director of online operations, George Constantinou, said.
Jens on Bahr, chief executive and co-founder at Evolution, added: “This is another major step in our land-based and convergence strategy — a step that will both enrich the gaming experience for online players and expand the services available to all Evolution licensees.
“Existing and new Hippodrome and Lola’s patrons will be able to experience the thrill of playing at this historic venue’s tables from virtually any location, even when they are not able to visit the venue in-person.”
Evolution will be working with iSoftBet to provide the Live Casino gaming experience via the studio with a selection of core games offered by Evolution. Players who access the gaming via Smartphone, tablet or desktop will be able to play along as the games take place in real time, with the footage streamed online.
iSoftBet CEO Nir Elbaz commented on the new partnership by stating that the expansion in regulated markets is one of the key goals of the company and the license of iSoftBet in Romania with over 60 certified games is a true testament to that. By partnering with Evolution, iSoftBet will be able to sell a multi-product offering in the market. The studio build by Evolution and the regulatory experience of iSoftBet makes for a natural partnership according to Elbaz.
Director of Business BandarQ Development and Land-Based Sales at Evolution Gaming, James Stern, stated that the location of the studio at the Grand Casino is perfect. The prestigious resort-style venue is well-known by players and will add kudos to the new service, helping to quickly build trust. Stern also stated that the company is excited to be launching an additional studio and always have the goal of being the first Live Casino provider to be certified to go live in the newly regulated market.
Evolution Gaming is confident that their foray in Romania will be a success as they have a strong track record in deploying remote studios in other jurisdictions such as Italy, Belgium and Spain.
